↑Yeah, probably something along those lines. I think even the retrogrouches (cough) have had to concede that Class D gets you the most bang for your buck.

I picked up a NAD 3020E for €40 a couple of years ago, there are bargains out there in secondhand integrated amplifiers too. Often with included phono stages, which may be a consideration depending on the turntable.
