  • This highlights the plight of many on the streets - drug and alcohol, I sympathize with them.

We all have been through or know someone who has been in the dark place...

    Thanks for the write up!

Also the plight of many off them, to the point where I don't think it's a distinguishing characteristic of the homeless. Not that he was, he just felt more comfortable roaming the highways than going home.

  • he just felt more comfortable roaming the highways than going home.

He's not alone, I used to buy meals for the homeless when I worked in the City and try to engage with them.

    Some would decline the offer.

As you said, the street is their home now, it's their choice, who are we to doubt it...

  • It's not a church, but maybe chapel?

  • That might give you the edge.

  • The other person in Ruserius' photo is Amy, photographed in Toronto by @humanizing_the_homeless, she has been homeless for many years. The pandemic has made her life even more difficult as places are shut and money is hard to come by. When photographed, she had a broken face mask on that she had to hold in place with her hand. ⁣

  • I think you've wrapped things up just there.

  • Thanks.

Odd choice, rather than someone from the local area, or even London in general.

  • Is this game going down the tube?

  • Will try this PM

  • I was going to drop out for a week or two to let other people have a go but there doesn't seem much interest, or people just aren't able to get tags. Be nice to have more people going out.

  • You're living on the edge there, buddy.
You should be aware of that.

  • Fully a-ware of that particular edge. Not this afternoon though anymore. Boohoo.

  • I’ll go get it this evening if it is where I think it is (and isn’t gone by then)

  • Old: Wrapper by Jacqueline Poncelet, Chapel Street, near Edgeware Rd Tube, Commissioned and produced by Art on the Underground, 2012

I can't believe I never knew about that one, thanks Will.

New: I must have had my eyes wide shut. Pray don't stalk me!

I know where this is, but no chance I'm getting there today.

  • Mate, sometimes I worship the ground you walk on.

  • Old: Worship Street, one of the London locations used in Eyes Wide Shut.

  • Looks like I spent too much time trying to think of a follow up. Can we have a clue please ?

  • Clue for the new:

Still on the theme of Worship, this seems to be a pagan sculpture. But is it from the pre-Christian era? No, but it's very close. It's even closer to paradise.

  • For Heaven's cake, that was a tough one!
