The word paraffin is used for a multitude of mixtures. Medicinal paraffin is much more highly refined than cheap heater fuel. The former is indeed a laxative, the latter contains all kinds of molecules, so while it will probably be a laxative it will also probably kill you, the timing depending on the quantity consumed and the mix.

I was on the fence about drinking paraffin and white spirit before, but I think I might give it a miss now.

Do a thread search for Bosch to get to the places in this thread where people express their various colour prejudices. #tester_approved Bosch green ones are for home gamers, and the tool tarts on here are probably only going to recommend De Walt and Makita over Bosch, both of which are more expensive.

Green Bosch for home use very much seconded here. I also own a posh DeWalt set for professional use and there’s no need to spend that money for domestic duty.
