I have two identical plastic containers in my shed, both with their labels missing. One has white spirit in it and one has paraffin. How do I tell which is which?

The smell difference is pretty obvious. The volatility difference is too, so if you don't know what you're smelling tip a few drops of each on a bit of concrete floor exposed to sunlight and you'll see the white spirit disappear very quickly.

I don’t think I’d be able to tell which is which from smell so the evaporation test is perfect, thanks!

I just finished the whisky so I was tempted to have a dram of each.
