• Jeffsy?

Never ridden one but the cool kids like them.

My brother has a carbon Canyon Spectral which has been a fine trail bike.

My Mondraker Foxy is fine as well but it's not a good winter bike in the UK, with some of the bearings a bit exposed. They're also insanely expensive. I'm getting rid of mine this summer as I've got a banshee which fits better.

I've ridden my fair share of Stumpjumpers but not the newer ones. Certainly capable bikes but not great value for money. If I were buying right now I'd consider a Jeffsy.

The newish Ibis Ripmo AF is pretty cheap and also meant to be good, or the Norco Optic, but both 29er. Also not sure if £3k+ is really inexpensive but for a new fully mountain bike, I guess it is...

  • I swear this isn't a burner account of mine but yes...

    YT Industries Jeffsy
    YT Industries Izzo
    Commencal Meta

Vitus, Nukeproof, GT, NS, Kona all have good options too but I think you'd be a bit mad not to just buy a 27.5 Jeffsy or a Commencal...
