• Hi everyone, I have recently upgraded so the trusty Canyon needs to go.

I bought this bike new in spring 2013. I had it serviced with new cables and bar tape fitted last year, and I have subsequently put a new rear tyre (only a few weeks ago).

This is a 62cm / XXL. Would ideally suit someone 6'2 or taller. I'm 6'6 (only 85kg so it's not been hammered).

I need to say that the frame is according to Brixton Cycles slightly out of line (8mm), however Bon Velo at Herne Hill told me its fine when I went for a second opinion. The gears aren't currently running perfect but they should be ok with a little attention. It's still a lovely bike to ride, really light and lively, as I have done until very recently. It's now surplus to my requirements as I've also bought something slightly different.

If it weren't for the alignment point, I think I'd be selling for around the £600 mark. As it is the price is £400. For someone it would be a good starter bike, for another it might a Campag/Mavic/Ritchey donor for a project.

I'm in Brixton and happy for you to come by and give it a test ride, would rather not post it. For someone it would be a good starter bike, for another it might a Campag/Mavic/Ritchey donor for a project. Will be sad to see it go actually, but hopefully to a good home!

Thanks and I'll be putting 10% of the sale to charity - Jamie :)
