My wife has 10 Speed Campagnolo Veloce on her bike. I think it’s the 2011 groupset. Everything was bought new at the same time.
Having issues with shifting. It shifts up fine, but when you shift down, it either skips one or two sprockets (particularly when you’re in a bigger sprocket), or dumps it right down to the smallest sprocket (especially when you’re in the middle of the cassette).
The cables have never been replaced, but I pulled it out and it looks fine, no fraying. Tension seems okay.
I’m thinking the thumb shift lever might be gummed up a bit? But I really have no idea. First step I guess is to replace the cables, but I’m not sure that will help.
