Steel frame, alu post. Obviously these are now bonded together after a winter in a leaky garage.
I don't want to actually remove the post - the fit is good and I'm happy with what is really a town/towpath beater. That said, does anyone have an horror stories to share that would put me off riding around on the jammed post? I don't THINK it's slipped at all since I've cleaned it all up, but that equates to a max of 50 miles.
Thoughts?!
