  • I got an order from Burning Sky this week, i really enjoyed Tail Crush one of the nicest session beers I've had

  • The Portman Group will be after them shortly...

  • Vocation - Breakfast Club 2.0 noticeably fruitier than the previous, I like it, and I liked V1

  • The London Beer Factory La Passion tart passion fruit saision: nice but pricey. Drank one bottle, could have done with another.

  • ...or two.

  • so much better on cask in a pub

    Ah pubs.
So loved them before they became extinct
    So sad...

  • I am sad I only picked up one Tail Crush. Just so good.

  • Dropped into 'Pint of Hops' along Acton's Churchfield Road(?)
on the way to a Shakespearean Wests on a cool windswept heath yesterday.

    Tried this:
The Blueberry muffin taste was distinctive and pervading.
Can't remember the last time a 'beer' repeated on me so much,
but, there again, with Wests in abeyance,
    I've not been drinking, (alcohol).

  • Are you lactose intolerant? :)

Missed lunch so I was hitting the turbo last night. I've just got a sixer from Jefferson, I've ordered another growler of silly IPA from Dodo and I've got a fridge full of cans and bottles for Cyberfest2 from beer52.

  • Are you lactose intolerant? :)

Pretty much, as I haven't eaten meat for years,
and only very limited dairy, (Cow milk yoghurt).
Never had this response to any of the ales/lagers/stouts drunk in the
last 5 years. Perhaps 7/8 weeks off the sauce has passed me anothert threshhold?

  • Sours are often pretty active beers so it might've just been a bit more carbonation than normal, especially if you're used to pub cask stuff.

  • Yeah, probably not helped by the evening meal being an XXX portion of chips
    from the Savoy chippy,
    and,
an aperitif of a Raspberry Gose.

  • had a IKAT DDH DIPA from Salt (lots of letters)
For a strong IPA it was a bit wishy-washy.

    jazzy pink can though

  • Oh, I really quite liked that.

A 3.5 on untappd is pretty good score from me.

  • the Savoy chippy

Ooh, we're a bit posh around West London, are we?

  • Lager.

  • My corner shop stocks 50cl tins of Budvar and Spanish San Miguel so I’m spoiled for lager.

  • Don’t buy this if you’re in Tesco. Like a gose but really heavy and not enjoyable at all

  • 100%, is that the abv?

  • Yeah,
they've had to get their act together in the Time of Covid.
I think they can deliver to most of the area bounded by the M25,
    (by boat).

  • Today's (first) beer is a Lost Cosmonaut DDH IPA
    I'm determined to like IPAs
