Thanks; looks quite nice in the pictures.
I expect the components will be pretty tired, but if it goes for without a heavy vintage / retro premium then I'll be glad to pick it up and get it running nicely.

That Trek 970 went for £235.
I found that too much, my max was somewhere in the £180 type of bracket for a 25 year old bike in unconfirmed condition and unconfirmed components when all you have to go on are a couple of dodgy pics on eBay.
Am I being unrealistic in what I could pick up this type of bike for?
