Leather / other?

that's an interesting (and awesome) dial.

Handy to know. I love the look of my SKX009 but the fact that it keeps fairly crap time and can't be hand wound irks me a little. I might give one with a 4R36 movement a try.

I like the lack of text. Too many Grand Seikos have a mini essay on them.

Lovely!

Leather, preferably smooth to complement the neatness of the dial.

Interesting. A lot of people prefer the Seiko top/Grand Seiko bottom for some reason. I like it simple.

Timekeeping with the 7S/4R/6R movements is a bit of a lottery because they don't adjust/regulate them at the factory, for obvious cost reasons. I have a 4R36 turtle that gains 1.5 sec/day. Whereas the one I bought Inchpincher for his birthday turned out to gain something like 15s/day.
They are very capable of good timekeeping though. A friend of mine regulated his Seiko 5 himself to +30 sec/ month. I have owned five (!) watches with 4R or 6R movements and they've all been within COSC (-4/+6 or better).

This was linked here recently:
These also look nice:

Or you could source a GS tang buckle and get Stewart at Heuerville to make you one to fit, eg this one (but without the holes):

Wearing this all the time at the moment. Love the ti.
I really hope Helson does a 40mm ti sharkdiver eventually as I’d be all over it.
I love my bronze one but it’s a bit of a beast so i think the steel with a bracelet would be too much of a chunk too.

Thanks. I don’t necessarily want the “distressed” look.
Was thinking more along these lines, not quite sure about the grey. I wonder how brown could I go with this black dial...

Cheapy watch gecko QR suede strap.
I’m not sure on it for this watch, might try to find similar colour in croc leather with a bevel to match . (Original blue / green strap on right)

I used to have a Breitling with a 24 hour dial, the hour hand doing one revolution per day.. very confusing at first.
Very busy face too what with the stop watch and all the hazards that go with that. I exchanged it for something a bit more ‘Fisher price’ with numbers I could read with out having to put my reading glasses on 🙄 -

The grey straps are nice but I can't help think they'll pick up so much dirt.
This is my Friday wear, a second hand Fenix 3 so I can listen to music while running.

That's not a Fenix 3 - or is it a modified/aftermarket case?

apols, vivoactive 3
I’m looking for a strap for this ^. 19mm lug width, so the choice is somehow limited. Few nice ones on Watchgecko but not quite what I want. Any other website recommendations? Thanks
