If I'm fitting a wald front basket to a Genesis Skyline 20, should I use the mudguard mounts, mounts on the inside halfway up the forks, or the wheel axles?
Would you trust the mudguard mounts? I’d secure it to whatever you feel is the most likely to stay put.

Mid-fork mounts are for luggage, but read the manual for load limit. Axle is the strong point, but more of a PITA when you have to take the wheel out.
If the mid blades are rated for luggage go for them - the shorter stays will make the basket less wobbly under load.
