Just keep your eyes open for an ESB - they pop up on here from time to time. Same difference as a Gangsta
-
• #6080
You could just pre order a V4 from here:
It's probably better to get one from here as there are three sizes to choose from whereas there are only two sizes for the original V1.
-
• #6081
Alright will do bud
-
• #6082
Preferably after a v1 tho , just a pain to find one nowadays
-
• #6083
Actually better than a Gangsta..
:P
Limits on bb/cranks though as it takes a BMX mid not BSA.
-
• #6084
Reasonable and V1 gangsta don't exist now, even harder to get the other frames now they go for daft money.
Just buy a V4 they will still be decent and ride exactly like the V1 will I imagine.
-
• #6085
Are those V4's still handmade in Brooklyn? My understanding is that the whole handmade in Brooklyn was only for the V1's?
-
• #6086
Yeah Esb are pretty cool but just love the collectability and rare factor of the gangsta , plus I wanna be a BMW owner ://

I would have been happy to sell it to you!
It went to someone else I really respect so am pretty pleased.
Don't think any old dickhead would have been allowed to buy it..
-
• #6090
The V3’s were also had made in Brooklyn.
-
• #6091
V1 and V3's
-
• #6092
You're like I want the hardest to get one now but also for cheap.
-
• #6093
You don’t want to be a BMW owner.
-
• #6094
Debateable , I mean some people just whack stupid prices on , whilst others have been selling for what I wanting to pay over the past year it’s just finding someone willing to sell
-
• #6095
People whack on crazy prices because of the reasons you listed:
collectability and rare factor of the gangsta
Might be worth looking at the V4’s.
-
• #6096
Yeah true
-
• #6097
If you think V1 Gangsta's are expensive, you should see the price the full suspension brooklyns go for now...
-
• #6098
Oh I know
-
• #6099
Is V1's seatpost diameter 29.8?
I have a shim to 27.2 since I got the frame so just double checking.

the shop in brooklyn is long gone - a 'nice' new condo building sits in its place :'(
the v4's are made in taiwan to the specs of the original (i believe).
whats reasonable?
