  • Good stuff… any plans for cloth patches?

  • I've always found the advice 'Oil separation is natural' oddly comforting. I'd buy a sticker or maybe a temporary tattoo of that.

  • just the stickers for now. thanks for your donation. 🥜

  • My £3.56 tub 'o PB arrived today. Not had a chance to have a proper crack at it yet but the "fish a glob out with a knife and shove it in your face" test was very positive.

  • I'm not as fussy as the missus and I don't mind myprotein and bulk powders offerings. So long as it's all peanuts and no extra shit except salt, money talks :)

  • It's decent, better than Meridian etc. It just needs a little bit more salt mixing through the tub but otherwise pretty spot on.

  • Meridian pistachio butter is pretty disappointing, especially at £6 for a wee jar. Might make ice cream with it.

  • pip&nut is way too runny for me, i'm switching back to proper nutty.

probably make some brownies with the rest of the pip&nut, either that or just eat it out of the jar with a ladle

btw, all stickers ordered went in the post today. 5 sets left if anyone else wants any.
thanks to those who purchased some - £40 raised for the forum so far!

  • pip&nut is way too runny for me

Dissapointing to hear. Just ordered 1kg

Cant imagine anything beats manilife extra roast

    So Crunchy and dark

  • Runny is a state of mind.

Get yourself a squeezy bottle and enjoy liquid PB

  • Wetter = easier to chug

  • I find pip& nut works best on really crunchy sourdough, the oilyness gets absorbed and helps soften the toast too.

  • A friend of mine has been making some recipes for Whole Earth. I've not tried this one yet but it looks great:

    https://www.wholeearthfoods.com/recipes/recipe/peanut-butter-no-bake-bars/

  • That looks banging! Will definitely be giving it a punt.

  • I find pip& nut works best on really crunchy sourdough

That's reassuring especially since I'm baking Lockdown sourdough, hi hydration, High oven temp, and steam for xtra crusty bread.

Will feedback once pip & nut arrives with pic

  • Nice. Gonna work in a substitute for the popcorn and knock one of these out.

  • cool. only 1 set left now!

  • Just want to say a belated thank you to this thread for the PB, Sriracha and black coffee breakfast combo. Has changed my mornings.

  • That's a potent combo.

  • About to occupy a position languishing somewhere on my top tube

  • .

  • Partner came back from Tesco with a big tub of Meridian - smooth. Feel like marrying her just so I can divorce her now.

  • Trying to think of a biscuit that wouldn't work. Jaffa cake? Rich tea might be effed up, dry as hell. Bourbon feels logical.
