Did you know the English government is even reading Facebook messages for some government work?
And I agree, not that google already have all my data, yet, NHS England is going to sell it to them, but in this case their anonymization is just that bit better.
Also cumming's mates are getting the contract, smell of nepotism there.

Personally this is one of those times when I’d rather wait for the apple/google collab native android/ios app. I wouldn’t trust one by a state developer based on their api or a separate developer’s app like the UK approach. I don’t trust apple & google but they already have all my data so I see it as not inviting yet another third party into my data circle.
