I don't really know what any of this means...
You be perfect for the roles of the current government.

Still only allowed 50 MPs in the chamber. I have no idea what their game is

Given Cummingsgate and the Buckland Long Distance Delivery Service I don't think that argument is still up for grabs. Still, you never can tell with the Tories given their lack of empathy and basic human decency.

Financial ability to ride this out
Dentists: Yes (In a lot of cases)
Nandos Employees: No (Ditto)If I was in my 20's living in London (With low R) needing to find rent money, I'd be begging Nandos to open

So when the app comes out eventually - a) it's civically responsible to download it and help protect everyone vs b) dodgy vote leave cronyism selling off all my data.
Where do we stand? -

So you eat their chicken?
Nando’s staff were furloughed on full pay.
I actually don’t know why dentists aren’t back. It seems strange. The British Dental Association have advice but are on the fence about whether non essential work is ok.

Aside from some Machievelian manoeuvre that must be the main reason, he is a real stickler for procedure of the house. The few times I enjoy him speaking it is usually about parliamentary tradition.

Depends how much anonymous contact you think you have where the app would give something above the contact tracing call centre.
Most places do fine without an app.

Personally this is one of those times when I’d rather wait for the apple/google collab native android/ios app. I wouldn’t trust one by a state developer based on their api or a separate developer’s app like the UK approach. I don’t trust apple & google but they already have all my data so I see it as not inviting yet another third party into my data circle.

Working in mouths generates a lot of aerosols with viruses if somebody is sick, so it is not so easy to keep the dentists safe. And you cannot easily do it from behind a shield either like with x-ray work.
A dentist in a full hazmat suit would be an experience...but that's not comfortable for a full day work and expensive kit. And also not fun if you already don't like the dentist! :)

Did you know the English government is even reading Facebook messages for some government work?
And I agree, not that google already have all my data, yet, NHS England is going to sell it to them, but in this case their anonymization is just that bit better.
Also cumming's mates are getting the contract, smell of nepotism there.

Given the number of dentists I have encountered with halitosis they might be more pleasant to visit if wrapped in a hazmat suit with their own air supply.

Hah, true!
I've been lucky with mine so far.

I imagine that public transport is the main issue there. London isn't really going to get back on its feet until public transport is working at a decent capacity and, by its nature, public transport is somewhere where you spend extended periods of time in close confinement with strangers.
For other areas of the country, mainly outside of the cities, where public transport usage is much lower it's probably less of an issue.

There won't be an Apple/Google app. It's an API that state providers can incorporate into their own apps.
So you'll need both the NHS app and a phone running the latest OS. I expect deployment to be far too low to be useful.

Apple news sources say api first, native app to follow.

I think I've seen videos of that.
Mine is almost literally always 99. I managed to get a 98 - briefly - earlier on after repeated measurements, then it went back up to 99 again.
It's not faulty because other half's just now was also 96.
I don't really know what any of this means...
