Swapping out a rear solid axle for a QR one: this page suggests that solid rear axles are usually 3/8" x 26 tpi, whereas QR are 10mm x 1mm. Is there any interchangeability between those? Could the cones and locknuts be transferred over from the former to the latter, or are the tolerances too tight?

Thought I had every Bb tool under the sun, but none that fit nds splines.
You’re looking for TL-UN96-A but you should be able to use a Lockrings tool. It’s the same tool for Shimano & TA removable spiders.

Solid rear axles varies depending on the maker. Who made your hub? I’ve put solid axles in Shimano 10x1 and 9x1 hubs. WM makes 3/8 (9.5mm) QR axles.

Thanks.
Have contacted some bike shops... If I get bored I will be attempting the hacksaw. -

No, and the tolerances aren't even tight, ⅜"×26 is just a very long way from M10×1.0

Bird in chimney update.
Sucking out corpse with hoover failed.
Took a picture. Jackdaw. Very alive tooking.
Had to break the firebrick backing to get it out, at which point the massive thing hopped out, circled the room a few times then went out the open window.
Terrifying.

Jackdaw
Serves the little fucker right, usually they just block chimneys with twigs as a nest base.

You can get Weldtite axle kits for this.

I can’t find a 27.2 black inline seat post in stock anywhere after a bit of googling. Anyone got one or a link to a new one? Nothing fancy.

Get the tektro RL 340s, they're fatter then the cane creek ones from my experience. Can't fault them

Is there anywhere I can get SPD-R cleats any more (apart from watching out on eBay)? As in the ones for DA 7700 pedals. Cheers

27.2 black inline seat post in stock
https://thecycleclinic.co.uk/products/kalloy-uno-seatpost-sp-368-twin-bolt-27-2mm-black-or-silver
I admit to cheating, it doesn't say inline anywhere on that page, but I knew the Kalloy part number 🙂
BBB BSP-20 is the other useful search term just in case @cycleclinic 's stock indicator is wrong.

OK, it's slightly fancier than Kalloy.

I'm currently cabling a project and have the below issue.
So i have an ultegra 6800 rear shifter that's not clicking to go down a gear, does this mean it's broken/is it an easy fix? I have tried to put the cable in but there's no movement with it.
Fixed it - wd40

If it goes on the fixiiiii skiddah it's a bolt on front axle so should be ok:
