101 things not to do on a bicycle

  • So, what not to do on your bicycle on your way home from work after a late shift.
    1) hit a kerb
    2) fall off your bike
    3) break your collar bone
    4) break your collar bone so badly it needs six screws and a metal plate.
    5) cry like a girl.

  • I think crying is totally valid.

Not even with the crash and injury.

But damn, that looks harsh. Hope you're healing well.

  • Ooooooh, that brought a tear to my eye

  • Taking it like a man . . . . .

  • Gnarly. Is it titanium?

  • Tried my party trick and put a magnet on it but it didn't hold, could be be titanium.

  • Heal up soon, treeman.

  • Looks like an Acumed midshaft plate which is indeed titanium. No expense spared for the forumengers

  • Sounds to me like the perfect excuse to embark on a Ti bike project.

  • Ah, I must admit, I do have a wee linskey TI ready to roll.

  • Could this be classed as mechanical doping ? Hummm.

  • Don't forget to colour match any anodised parts for maximum style points (your plate is blue)

  • Oh, the linskey is lime gold. Must get the plate changed. . . . . second thoughts it would be less painful to change the paint.
