Thanks to a very good deal from a former this ssmtb is in my hands.
After swapping some parts on it I had a divine ride around Epping forest very early on Sunday, really one of the best rides ever, only to have a nasty crash - not my fault - on the way home. Thanks to the forumer who helped clean me up and the A+E dept for enough x-rays to tell I didn’t quite break my ankle.
No pics from the ride, but this is how the bike - Genesis Fortitude, 725, 2015 edition - is looking after a lot of tinkering and logo removing. It just handles so nicely, I don’t know why. Jones bars and springy fork definitely doing a lot. Very happy.
