I don’t actually mind them using my data provided it is fully anonymous.
It's very hard (often impossible) to make that data "fully anonymous".
What I don’t want is for random people to click through the leaderboards to see my rides and the routes I take.
Does the digital Internet badge disappear if you change the qualifying rides to private(followers) after you've been awarded it?
Otherwise having stuff public for a bit is just a price you have to pay to get those digital Internet badges.
