Does it need a 7 speed freehub?
I have a pair of half decent ones, 8/9/10 speed freehub.
Would want them to go as a pair for £30.
Still got that plastic saddle? -

Cheers, I've sent them a message asking about my situation (Campagnolo Athena 34.9mm to 31.8mm seat tube).

Sure I got a Shimano one somewhere...

• #102480
Is a shim a shim, or is a Shimano shim different to a Campagnolo one?
-
• #102481
Campag one is probably overpriced and ugly

Some Shimano ones have projections to stop the FD from sliding down the shim. These may interfere with the clamp band on non-Shimano FDs

I guess I could clip them off, if that happened. @coventry_eagle would you be able to have a look in your spares box please? This is the last thing I need before I can hand the bike over.

apart from eBay sellers in China, and that'll take too long), anyone have a lead that I can follow up?

I order quite a lot of bike parts, and SJS is absolutely, positively, the last place I'll order from unless I'm (very much) not in a hurry, as it often takes them days to dispatch stuff.
I would expect the seller in China to get me my order before SJS puts it in a bag.

Front 'pizza rack' for track bike?
Is there something that can be mounted to front axle and brake drilling?
Or, something that can be mounted to those big round carbon forks from PX? -
• #102487
And having just run through those links they're all ~7 days for delivery.
-
• #102488
Can't see the 2nd image but I've got a pelago rack on my dolan, and it mounts to the axle and brake mount.

I do have the plastic saddle! Shit....
I think I've got one rear wheel (which is all I need for the turbo bike) sorted.I can leave the saddle outside when you're in the area... (Did you want those lightish rims too?)
-
• #102491
Ha, completely forgot the rims, yeah I'll take them. I'll PM a bit later.

I’ve been down this road with my Koga.
The short answer is, just get some flat bars you like. Tried all the types? Koga Denham for example? And then use nice levers, XTR or Avid BlackOps. Feels AMAZING
Long answer is, it’s possible to use normal road brake levers with standard (not mini) V brakes. You have to make sure the rims are very true, and take a little care setting up. I would imagine mud clearance isn’t too great either. But it works. -

This has probably been asked somewhere already, but... Any recommendations on a gravel tyre that's good on tarmac? Extra points for gnarly knobbly looks.

How do I know before I start the process, if my rear wheel (geared) can be converted from nutted to qr?

I like drops though. :( Miss the multiple hand positions and the aero drop position when I use it 1% of the time. Might be willing to give something like a Jones (rip off) a chance, or those Denhams you suggested (thanks for the tip).
I did really enjoy the flat bar braking and shifting though. And the control.
Just put a new 70 quid drop bar on my biek though. Sunk cost and all that...

I vaguely recall a Kickstarter for a dropbar with sideways extensions.
-
• #102498
If you're only changing the axle and reusing cones/spacers etc. having made any appropriate length adjustments to the new one, it should just be a simple swap. I'm sure there must be videos online somewhere.

I'm boycotting Kickstarter.

I probably can't compete with your order volumes, but I have to say that over the last couple of years I've had the complete opposite experience with SJS. Always received whatever I ordered within 3 days.
