Drummer is great, I don't know how to edit the tracks it spits out which I've found a bit frustrating... There have been a couple of times when it's come up with absolutely perfect parts and I don't have to touch it, pretty clever stuff...
Chucked my new-to-me MIJ GE7 onto the big board (because it's 12v, couldn't put it on the little 9v powered board) and it's fucking great!! I'm never buying another boost pedal again, I will now be on the hunt for cheap graphic equalisers...

Such a cool guitar. I have a Strat itch to scratch this year.
@Nahguavkire, I know you said you found you didn't get on with Logic X but I reckon it would be worth having another go once you've got the basics of recording workflow sorted. Drummer in the latest version of Logic is an unbelievably powerful tool and ridiculously easy to use. You can infinitely tweak patterns played by real drummers and if they still aren't doing EXACTLY what you want, you just export the region to midi and tweak in the piano roll.
The project templates are a great way of figuring out how to set up things like aux channels for effect send/returns too.
