Was thinking hard tail as I have a rigid single speed (27+) already and full sus would probably be overkill for me.

Had fancied the Tarn in the classifieds but would prefer something livelier

The bikes of the frames that were recommended to Tallboy, if you shop you should be able to find something in your budget.
