A quiet thread this.perhaps it reflects the pace of life over 60. Surely not! Because for the last few sunny weeks I've ridden my weary arse off in Gloucestershire and could be as fit as I've been since pre 50. I'm picking off the hills around Cheltenham and Gloucester and stretching out over the commons and woodlands. This is THE year for cycling if ever there was one. I ran maybe the first (not sure I'm new here) pop up Bike Check Point here last week, made it onto local BBC Radio and had a queue all day of mum's, dad's, kids wanting tyres blown up and clicky gears tuned. Life is good.....
