Drops in general or Venturemax specifically?
Drops cuz... I cannor really get used to risers. And a may or may not have a spare sram levers.
Venturemax, because of the shallow drops, the slight backsweep and price comapred to Salsa stuff.

That bike seems to have a full groupset so it seems like it’s just for the sake of it? Trails are definitely more fun with decent width risers over drops.

Sure, its equipped with 3x9 XT shifting and magura louise brakes. Sram levers are still in transit anyway (if not lost aready #covid), so for now I will start with a cleaning and basic service.
