bb drop is 25mm. At least not negative. Haha. Its a camera trick. I remember surly coming out with a shorter troll fork only a few weeks after i built it. The newer one had 420mm a-c. Would've been better. Still a cheap frameset. I had no idea what i was doing. Handles just strange. But not bad. Had it on 26" for a few years. Now on 650b and handling feels a little more balanced. Its my heavy tourer. So only gets used with bags. Else I have other bikes.

What is it? Can’t make out the Branding

Are rear panniers banned in this thread?

Not if they are weaved from yeti silk by time-travelling blind nuns or something equally artisan

from the article:
Imagine if Trek stocked a flat bar, big tired 520.. now that’d be something.
they do and it's cheaper with hydraulics, hub dynamo, brooks saddle.

Looks like a great little bike! That's essentially what I'm trying to do with my Vagabond for commuting/touring/trails

520 clearance from the comments on that post. What size 650b could you get in there do we reckon?

Dibs on frameset when you decide to sell and get disc brakes.

I don’t see very many tandems, but I think that usually the pedals are aligned—is this a full suspension mountain tandem thing? Maybe it helps when setting off—at least someone will be able to push with one leg. But if that’s the reason, why not 90°?

This is pretty damn good imo

90 would be annoying if you wanted to coast over rocks or roots.

yea, I like it as well. Looks a bit as if you could ride on water with it.

Maybe better this way.

Harsh! I think it's great

I said maybe!
But while those forks might be acceptable, there is no excuse for a front mudguard looking like this.
Great panniers though. -

May be the first time I saw a bike with one of those Crust forks that doesn't look like it just barely survived a car crash!

Interesting. I've got black rings with silver crankset and was wondering about pink bolts. Good to see it in the flesh!
