workhorse Bikes are like hair - the more you wash them the less you get out of it, i know this because I have a great bike and fabulous hair.
When it does come to cleaning the bike (once every 4-5yrs) I use my own scientifically formulated hammer and chisel method. This hasn't proved to be that successful with hair though
