The "Cummings broke the rules" I guess is the interesting bit, cos the government politicians that defend him are all more or less stating "no he didn't!!!"
That’s the thing, this is, to my knowledge the first time I’ve seen a government happily backed someone who broke the rules, Where people got fired or resign for less.
Like, an actual Prime Minister defending Cummings as he’s the Prime Minister and Boris just an adviser.

If they think this helps in any way, dunno, sure it is good propaganda, em sorry did I give an opinion, for their hardline supporters, but anybody already in doubt over the government response may switch over to the "no, you gone too far side" with this.
