Hmm yes. I could get something like this and have the speakers on their side on one shelf and the Sky box etc on the other. Might need to drill some holes but would be a good solution I think.

Or you can buy a TV stand that looks like that but has the hole at the back already?

Any leads? They (TV stands) seem to mostly be 100cm+ from the usual suspects like Ikea, John Lewis etc. That pic is actually a book/DVD case.
