He'll be fine on all the reds, the only place I'd even advise any caution is the very first trail where there is a rocky staircase style descent, but you can roll straight down the slope beside it.
He will only get himself into trouble if he takes too much speed on the (mild) descents which have some banked turns - gravel/grit lower down in these can be a bit slippery, but if he's railing it around the top then no problem.
