Just brought some zubrowka to make some polish bullets (bison grass vodka, honey liquer and pressed apple juice).
Question what vodkas are decent value for money whilst also good?
Used to buy stolichnaya and absolut, but am open to any and all suggestions which don’t get too expensive. Will probably be drinking it mixed, but am not averse to having it near or over ice..

starka is a lovely sweet mellow flavoured vodka
otchkotchnya ( spelling ? ) a herbal infused vodka an interesting taste think cough medicine and wild prarie herbs
krupnik a lovely smooth honey vodka

all lovely on their own

got zubrowka for mixing

all available along old compton street at that fabulous spirit shop, name escapes me, the window display alone must have 10 spirit varieties most people have never heard of before, good shop for that rare or elusive spirit

I only tend to drink Polish vodka unless I'm out and there's nothing else. Polski Sleps should have some good stuff. Won't be anywhere near as cheap as in Poland but can be cheaper than supermarket shite.

I got my old man to drink Krupnik. It's the easiest drinking vodka and it's not flavoured with bullshit like all the club/bar vodkas.

Zubrowka + apple juice + ice + slice of lemon = :-* (I also like this neat).

Debowa is another nice neat option. It's oaked.

Otchkotchnya sounds Russian or Lithuanian or something.

Really like Snow Leopard (sometimes 20-25 on Amazon), else Ketel One and you can't go wrong with Absolut at 18 for a litre!
