Keep the Fuji as is, buy a nicer frame and parts to build up over time.
Then you'll have two bikes, one you won't mind going to the shops on and one for sunny days.

Hehe I’m not really a 2 bikes kinda person and by “nicer” I’m talking more about sturdier/lighter rather than hornier. But yeah you’re right it probably makes more sense to do things that way round... ANYWAY the point of this thread was “what’s the deal with these Faggin cranksets?”

Looks very similar to the Andel track crankset. Probably made by Andel and rebranded as Faggin. There is nothing wrong with them as a brand, but I would not call that a great value at € 110,00.
If you aren't in a hurry, wait for a better crankset to show up in the classifieds section. -

Thanks, yeah I’m in no rush at all. I just get a bit dewy eyed over Faggin bikes for no discernible reason and this bit of one seemed attainable. That’s a bit of a shockingly close similarity between those two cranksets though... what a letdown

IRD, VO, and a few other brands all sell the same cranks with their own logos etched on. Save your money.
Anyone have any experience of the Faggin Track Crankset? I’m weighing up options to upgrade the one that came stock on my Fuji track (with a view to transferring parts to a nicer frame somewhere down the line) and this seems like a surprisingly reasonable price for a crankset by such a bougie brand. What do y’all think? http://www.fagginbikes.com/shop/faggin-track-crankset/
