I just need to cable up the gears and wrap the bars. Will get a decent finished shot at the weekend.

Finally got this finished! Had a bit of a faff sorting out the YAW front derailleur so got Cycle PS to set it up properly.
I'm taking it to Dorset tomorrow for a long weekend cycling and walking around the Jurassic Coast

Enjoy the weekend jaunt.

I've put around 150 miles on this commuting and a trip round Dorset and I'm enjoying it so much more than I expected. It's not that much slower than my road bike, especially on badly surfaced country lanes, and I still felt fresh after a a long weekend ride.
Next up a front rack (probably Pelago) for commuting and light touring and some mudguards before i head to Skye and the Outer Hebrides in May.
One thing is that the mini-v's have gone from razor sharp to super spongy already. Any ideas?

I had a similar experience with regular v's. It seems they just eat up soft rubber brake pads. But I'd rather change brake pads than having them chew through my rims.
---edit---
Also, after fitting new pads on mine, I flipped the spacers around so the thickets spacer is inwards - It is supposed to make up for slimmer rims. -

Yeah I had the pads set up super close to the rims. Have you tried Swissstop? I'm pretty happy with the performance of the stock pads but not sure I can be bothered to adjust the brakes every two weeks.
In other news, I rode 30 miles of canal paths today (Kingsbury - Coventry) and the bike was great.

I was so surprised when I went through the pads so fast, because I ran an entire year or more on the tektro cantis I had on my bike before. I guess it's a testament to the superior mechanical advantage of v's.

Decided to do a full rebuild since I have plenty of spare time on my hands.
Had a go at applying Frame saver whilst I had the bike apart and everything that moves is being replaced/regreased/refurbished apart from the headset. I think the Shimano hub's are completely shot so not going to try and regrease - will take to a LBS when things calm down.
Still waiting on a few bits including a Ti Flite as I managed to snap my Cambium.
Brother are also very kindly sending me their last bottle of touch up for this colourway so i can try and repair some of the damage from 3 years of commuting. Will share some before/after pics if i'm semi successful.

Ooo nice

what framesaver did you use?
I treated mine a while back with acf-50
top tip - if anyone uses the same stuff make sure to wear gloves, I didn't and had quite a bad reaction on my hands. -

I used ProGold Steel Frame Protector.
Definitely wear gloves, long sleeves and goggles*. I did exactly what it told me not to do about spraying into one of the vent holes and suffered a bit of spray back. I applied two coats about a day apart. Really simple process.
