Is it stupid? yes. Does it work. Heck yeah.
Just have to tinker with the new hall effect setup, bleed brakes and done!

Why is it stupid? Better (more stable) that using a step ladder and straps.

I moved a motorbike a little further out of the way...in the garage and that is all the motorbike work I have done in 10 months.
