Slightly better pics of my Roberts from an earlier post, on a nice ride today.
It's made from Columbus EL OS; Record hubs on Open Pros (re-rimmed once so far); mostly 2004-ish Campag Centaur/Record; Chorus Ti seatpost, Arione saddle; Thomson stem, Cinelli 64 bars.
@mattyc- that was a hell of a find. Looks great. Hope you love it.

Greetings to all,
I'm pleased to have found this group. I purchased a C. Roberts used bicycle way back in 1978 in a shop in Cambridge Massachusetts. I have enjoyed riding it all this years, including Sunday last.
I look forward to read your posts and will take a couple of pictures to share with you.
Thank you

aaand the other one:
Dad's Audax. Columbus Nivacrom; Veloce on Open Pros; Campag Veloce, Mirage mix, including mostly worn out right shifter; Sugino something cranks; my ancient M737 SPD's, boat-anchors but I love them; an equally ancient Rolls. Fun to ride on squidgy tyres, they're Rivendell somethings.

Pretty sure I had Richard Sachs in mind when I chose the colour. I was fixated on somehow getting a Sachs, once. Also, erm, American Flyers...

My 1995 Roberts Dogs Bolx MTB frame needs a respray. I'm trying to source some replacement decals. Any ideas anyone?

Try H Lloyd Cycles (replacement decal specialist) - they are showing D.O.G.S decals for top and down tube as available. Very good service.

Really like the look of this!

Could also be worth talking to Dave at Colourtech in Crayford. IO think he has a selection of Roberts decals and stencils.

I have come into a Roberts audax frame which I'm building up with modern-ish stuff. Will post once it's finished, am really excited to ride it.

Roberts Centenary events planned for June 6th postponed till a later date. Followers of this thread will recall the planned ride to all the Roberts workshops and the planned after party at Hackney Peddler (where the world's largest Roberts collection hangs from the ceiling). We had hoped most of the Roberts builders would turn up but Covid has put a spoke in the wheel of the event. We will announce a new date as soon as possible. Updates will be posted on the Roberts history page https://lcc.org.uk/articles/roberts-cycles and on this thread.

I have finished building up a Roberts audax frame I got off of @pastry_bot
It's very comfortable - hoping it will fun enough to be a Dad Razz Bike and maybe also do some longer actual audax distance stuff. Was this close to getting 7900 DT shifters. Maybe for L'Eroica 😂

Hi there, I am hoping someone can help me identify this beautiful Lo Pro labeled as a Roberts?
Its been on the South DC TT circuit for a while but its origins, as well as its original paint job, has been lost in the mists of time.
Currently, beginning the restoration with a friend and would like to know the tubing and colorway?
BB 89 12 2 so guessing that's year month and number.
Any help appreciated, cheers

Surely a Roberts given the fastback cluster, curved seat tube and fillet brazing. Numbering fits: year month etc. Popular colour scheme was the blue pink fade but Mavic matching , black frame/yellow decals and trimmings was seen as well. Tubing was likely Columbus but a mix is also possible. Winston might know. Enjoy.
Yeah, nearly finished it - awaiting CK campag lock ring... been out running errands on it, it’s lovely, still getting my head around campagnolo (not had any since 8speed) - the shifting doesn’t ‘snap’ like it does on sram, it’ll be a good Sunday best... 👍🏻
