If he was worried for his safety in March why did he only get security at his house last week? Doesn't add up.
We also knew where Boris Johnson live before, and he have a lots of enemies also.
People weren’t shouting at him outside, he was shouting at people inside.If safety an issues; the government would know about it, or at least should to ensure their staff is safe.

And the police will have a record of any credible threats. I imagine if they had these, it would've been released by now.

But let's not get cause and effect mixed up. People were shouting at him because he broke quarantine, not the other way around. If he was worried for his safety in March why did he only get security at his house last week? Doesn't add up.
