Judging by the news footage he has an Evoque, which is a fairly low and light "crossover" that´s usually sold as front (two) -wheel drive. It´s not a four by four. If it´s a diesel it´s easily capable of 500 miles on a single tank. Not defending Mr Cummings, just car chat derail.
