It looks like you're right about the geometries, so that should be a non-issue.
I ran 45mm tyres with mudguards on my medium vagabond and had some issues with toe overlap at low speed.
Comparing a large Vagabond with a Large CDF on BikeInsights, it appears there's around 5 mm less distance between the pedal spindle and the tyre on a Vagabond.It is a good frame though! I'm looking into building mine up again.
I have a large 2015 (I think) CDF set up with flat bars which I find perfect - it looks like vagabond L has same reach and same head tube length so expecting it to be spot on?
Toe overlap due to short cockpit? Is toe overlap an issue?
