I like how I have it, cheers!

I've swapped the post over for a silver one, the rest I will mess about with as time goes on. Just happy it's up and running. I have a cougar frame to work on next which will take most of my attention.

I think it's a great build. How does it ride?
For a nice shouty look you could go hot pink on saddle and bar tape. Good luck finding a hot pink saddle that you like, though...

I had green tape on at first and it was just a touch too loud. I would like to try purple but swapping it is too costly right now.
It rides great! Really responsive and pretty comfortable.

I have a soft spot for Scapin steel; I currently have three of them: a very elegant ks-25, a modern S8 and a KS Pro.
I fell in love with the KS-Pro when I saw the @Noca's one.
Mine was already beautiful when I found her, with her original blue steel fork. But during the quarantine I took the time to bring it to the present day. And it's still beautiful.

I appreciate this is a controversial topic(!) but what ahead stems have people found look better than others on a vintage frame. I like the Deda Superleggero but can't afford those prices ATM. Needs to be something around the 10degrees mark too

ITM Visia doesn't look too shabby - understated, not massive and i think it's 10deg. High on bikes have had them going pretty cheap on their ebay store for a couple of years.
Saying that, I went from one of them to one of these: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/ahead-11-8-318-stem-black-id_8529483.html
Thrifty man's superleggero?

Both ritchey and zipp make nice understated stems that suit steel frames.
The decathalon stem Turtle posted is also decent. I have the same and for 15 quid it really is worth checking out.

Thanks for the suggestions, some of the Ritcheys look like they would do the job. I'll cast around on here/eBay for something. That decathlon stem does look interesting, although it's hard to find any decent photos

I will dig mine out and send you some tomorrow.

That Z Peugeot is so incredibly good, I wish I could find one in my size!
This one is not quite as good but really nice, still a bit big for me:
