Best thing is the horn heckling. -

"I was afraid of twitter. Had to run away."

• #13455
Presumably everyone in the vicinity has to go through some kind of security check? (I'm not actually watching, are they trumpeting from the other side of the railings)

“I drove to see if I could drive”
-
• #13457
He did just admit to driving to the hospital with symptoms and picked them up.
-
• #13458
He's admitted he broke the rules now.
-
• #13459
I'm listening on the radio, so can't see what is happening alas
-
• #13460
Really unlucky that he was only ever outside three times, and every time there was someone else who saw and recognized him.
-
• #13461
He's in the garden of no. 10 so it will be someone outside.
-
• #13462
If it was such a hard decision and he was worried about threats at his home........why was he so cocky and arrogant over the weekend when being questioned about it?
-
• #13463
Got to feel sorry for him, happened to find himself in the specific circulmstances that the rules didnt account for

No engagement with his alleged return visits to Durham in late April and May 10th.
I really hope the Mirror/Guardian now come out with photos -
• #13465
I don’t. As I said above, if he’d not been an arsehole yesterday/day before and said this all up front, then not a problem. Instead he’s been a fuck off attitude to everyone asking.
-
• #13466
It's all a very reasonable story as told (minus the "driving to check if my eyesight was good enough to drive with two small nature stops" bit) that took an oddly long time to be expressed.

• #13467
Um, er, I, I, I, ugghhh
(blames media)
Errr

• #13468
This is surprisingly good questioning by the government PR officer.
-
• #13469
Running the clock down marvellously now. Got to ask questions in a specific order. Difficult questioning towards the end and “oh, sorry no time now?”
-
• #13470
sorry, that was heavy sarcasm, should of used /s
-
• #13471
No appology, no contrition, no sorrow.
Oh and I had to drive 30 miles to see if I could drive; I call BULLSHIT !

• #13472
WA utter C
-
• #13473
Why isn't anyone asking whether a drive, sitting by a river, and then visiting some woods, was breaking the rules?
-
• #13474
He drives a range rover, he stayed on a farm so expect there were other 4x4 vehicles around, instead of testing driving on a field at the property he goes for a 30 mile trip to test his eyesight
-
• #13475
Also, what about his wife's piece in the Spectator? Why did she feel it necessary to say they were in London if they did nothing wrong?
Persistent horn person must be baking
