Take it for a spin and see if you can feel the 'increased stiffness' and 'more effective and more precise bike handling'.
Measure the rear dropout spacing. If it's 142mm, it's not boost. If it's 148mm it's boost. Internal mounting face to internal mounting face.
put a normal wheel in the axle and if it fits it ain't boost
