Ahh thanks, yes it’s 30mm. Another rookie lesson in the world of 1” threaded. Fitted it with bushing and bearing locktight , think it’s disastrous?

Did the crown race fit ok? I think JIS have different internal diameter's to ISO.

The headset came with a new crown race that fitted just as tightly as the previous

Not that it's unheard of for framesets to come with ISO head tubes and JIS forks 🤨
