I've been asked to recommend a new bike for a friend who's getting into cycling now that pubic transport is less fun.
I'm a bit out of the loop and I didn't realise Ribble no longer sold those nice 7005 Audax bikes. What's the current go-to equivalent? Has to be new, fast-ish, under a grand, and take a rack and guards. Any suggestions?
