Any recommendations for an Akrose of the running shoe world? Just something cheap and basic until I remember that I hate running or realise they don't fit properly?

Thanks, have you used them yet? Just wondering whether the plastic on the top is annoying, some reviewers seem to have complaints, others really rate them.
