  • Spent an hour running up and down various small hills for the club challenge- max ascent in 5 miles, no hill repeated more than twice. Another lad bagged the hills behind my house so I went somewhere new. Managed 1150ft/350m. I’m knackered and it was the least satisfying run of my life.

  • Ha, that sounds awful. Running hills is fine but running down sucks.

    I like running up hills, I like running down hills. I don’t like weaving up and down a shitty bit of incline. Absolutely no rhythm or chance of getting in your groove.
