yes, I've run it with 10 speed sram red shifters for the past year. I've just upgraded to force x1. They're all exact actuation so the MTB / CX and road is all cross compatiable. I think it's only the X Actuation of 11 speed MTB that isn't cross compatiable (as I recently found out to my financial detriment)
