Can't help with tripster clearances. But I have some Donnelly x plor MSOs in a 650x50 that I really liked.

Most of the larger 650B tyres seem to be 47mm or they're 27.5 MTB tyres going from 2.2-3" wide.
The quoted limit on the Tripster is 52mm. Does anyone make 650x52? How generous is their limit claim?
