You jest, but it's only a matter of time before they infiltrate our bogs. There's already one in our midst.

Ha -cant quite believe the pro cyclist slant of all the coverage of that (linked in video description). Even the daily fail on the side of the kid, plus the landowners have come out in support of riders. Good stuff.

Anyone else been following Joe Barnes lockdown vids? All irreverently entertaining, but his latest is some form of art.

I think that's mostly due to him handling it well, I'm not that cool or polite at the best of times.
I'm really sick of this tedious shit, it happens in Epping Forest all the time, but it's just logs and branches that aren't enough to disrupt you flow if your a mediocre mountain biker, but it's annoying because the only people it might deter are beginners and those are the people we want to encourage to our sport.
Just one other observation-
Since I've been cycling as a hobby in my adult life I started out road cycling and racing. When cycling on the road pretty much everyone greets you in someway, be it nod of head, little wave from the handlebar, or the shout of 'morning, but it's uncommon in my usual spot to be greeted reciprocally by other mountain bikers, the dog walkers and hikers on a whole are more polite. -

I've had more than 1 person look at my CX bike in Epping and moan about "them mountainbikers" zooming past them at speed and being careless/reckless. Usually walkers without dogs

27.5 non boost trail wheels. Around 30mm internal, alloy and not too pricey. Recommendations?

Getting a motor is on the cards so when that's sorted I can go further afield.

Currently out of stock tho. I'm using the smaller £25 one with the 1l bladder and it's great for the money.

Camelback octane is good. Space for everything you've listed, plus sweets and a sandwich or two. Not sure if you want waist straps, but I find them useful when mtbing to keep things stable.
