Apologies the contract with Kent County Council Highways Dept. specifies
'One left shoe per 2 miles of carriageway'.
C-19 has played havoc with the shift patterns.
If you can let the call centre know where you noticed the missing shoe
we'll do our best to dump one over the weekend. -
Why is it always a left shoe laying forlorn and abandoned in the middle of the road?
Because if it hadn't been left, it wouldn't be there.
