Yeah, definitely went into this thinking "no fucking way, but I'll give it a crack" but at the same time I wasn't angry when I failed it. If I fail the sweetspot stuff that I've been nailing I get proper shitty :)
So, I'll give 'Fang Mountain +3' a go and make a call based on progress. If it's fucked, I'm going back to base sweetspot - it's more useful to me anyway considering I never go near VO2max in racing these days. Although I'm reading PJ's Corinthian Endeavour at the moment so now I want to race a hill climb again... if only to remind myself why I don't bother.
I haven’t used TR for a while now and this reminds me why I stopped. I found the jump to be so hard sometimes that I would go into sessions feeling properly apprehensive, which led to general lack of motivation.
Saying that, this lockdown (and my new pizza oven) mean that I urgently need to get back on it.
